Jagdschloss Hubertus, a listed ensemble on the edge of the Baden-Baden woods, comprises the main building dating from 1890, the hunting pavilion and the historic cavalier buildings dating from 1729. The building has been converted into a boutique hotel with a spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, in close consultation with the conservation authorities. The original hunting pavilion has been restored and opened for events. Stylish guest apartments have been created. An infinity pool in the park completes the ensemble. The water from the pool flows over the natural stone-clad pool wall and cascades down a water staircase that follows the topography. This project was realised under the direction of Urban Knapp at khp architekten - Knapp Haedecke + Partner.
